Meer Taqi Meer(1723-1810)

Mir had an Iraqi name and a sharp nickname.His father's name was Mir Ali Muttaqi.You were born in Agra.He received his early education from Syed Amanullah Sat.He was a disciple of Jr.'s father and a brother.After the death of his father and Amanullah in his childhood,he had to leave Agra for a living. Employed by a Nawab here.When he was killed in the neighborhood of Nawab Nadir Shah,my gray came out but he had to go again.Due to the law and order situation in Delhi,he was forced to turn to Khanna.There he became associated with the court of Nawab Asif al-Dawla and lived in the city for the rest of his life.

Meer is called the three gods.He has tried his hand at different genres of poetry but his style is ghazal singing.He is the king of blasphemous ghazals.His sincerity touches the heart due to his sincerity, second nature and simplicity.

His greatness has been acknowledged not only by his contemporaries but also by the victims.Doctor Maulvi Abdul-Haq,the father of Urdu, has called him the "Sartaj poet of Urdu".

Meer's writings include an autobiographical "Zikr Meer" as well as ek tazkira "Nikat Ashar".
